Baseball Recap: Dominican Wins Going Away Against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy

Dominican won the last time they faced St. John's Northwestern Military Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 17-9 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Michael Griesel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tyler Feldbruegge, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Dominican's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't). Xavier Parlier also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
