Bountiful lost to Juan Diego Catholic back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The RedHawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Soaring Eagle 6-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the RedHawks.

Conner Wack looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Tanner Swanson and Krew Nelson did most of the damage at the plate: Swanson scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Nelson went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Nelson has posted since back in March of 2024. Hudson Malmrose also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Bountiful's record is now 3-7. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Bountiful will face off against Uintah at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The RedHawks are facing the Utes at the right time seeing as the Utes are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will challenge Hillcrest at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.15 runs per game on average), something the Soaring Eagle will no doubt try to take advantage of.
