Baseball Recap: Northside Falcons Homeschool Sets Scoring Season-High Against HCYA

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside Falcons HomeSchool). They put the hurt on HCYA with a sharp 20-3 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kaleb Steiger was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Daniel Bardin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Northside Falcons HomeSchool's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.3 runs. As for HCYA, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Northside Falcons HomeSchool will face off against Silsbee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Silsbee has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for HCYA, they will challenge Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
