Brackett proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Sabinal Yellowjackets 7-5. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Kammron C and Tommy L did most of the damage at the plate: C scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while L scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy S, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
Brackett's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Sabinal, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.
