The Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Premier Prep- PHHoenix 67-26 at home. Considering Learning Foundation & Performing Arts has won eight contests by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Learning Foundation & Performing Arts to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julian Huerta, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Huerta is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaree Davis, who scored eight points.
Learning Foundation & Performing Arts' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Premier Prep- PHHoenix, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Learning Foundation & Performing Arts will face off against East Valley Athletes for Christ at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Premier Prep- PHHoenix, they will head out on the road to face off against BASIS - Scottsdale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
