Ferris (Spokane) didn't get the home semifinal game it earned, but it didn't matter.
The Saxons (13-0) were supposed to host the
Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma) Lions (11-2) on Saturday at Albi Stadium, but heavy snow made that impossible. The Lions had even traveled to Spokane for the game but it was rescheduled for Monday at the Tacoma Dome.
The third-ranked Saxons advanced to the title game for the second straight year by beating the Lions 14-10. They will get a rematch against the top-ranked
Skyline (Sammamish) Spartans, who won a semifinal game that deserves instant-classic status.
