Shady Spring lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kendra Pizzino, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Barnes, who scored 11 points.
Shady Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Spring Mills, their victory bumped their record up to 1-6.
Shady Spring will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Philip Barbour at 6:15 p.m. on December 29th. Spring Mills will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washington at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
