The Dibble Demons will head out on the road to take on the Christian Heritage Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Dibble made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Frederick, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Dibble's way against Frederick on Friday as Dibble made off with a 16-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Demons.

Blake Creswell and Trey Ott were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Creswell pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Ott struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, Creswell posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. At bat, Creswell scored four runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Ott scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Creswell has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played.
In other batting news, Tucker Bloodworth was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Kaden Barnett was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Dibble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frederick only posted an OBP of .278.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Christian Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Santa Fe South on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won three in a row.
Dibble pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.4 runs. As for Christian Heritage, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Dibble couldn't quite get it done against Christian Heritage when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-4. Can Dibble avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
