While Crowley put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Ville Platte. The Gent put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Gent have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Crowley pushed their record up to 16-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Ville Platte, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Crowley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ville Platte, they will square off against Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.64 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
