After having lost a blowout in their previous game against 1 of 1 Academy, the Wilson Tigers were happy to have found some success on Sunday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 62-30 victory over Lab University Prep. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Wilson has posted since December 20, 2023.
Wilson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Murray, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Leanissa Swinton, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds and five steals.
Makayla Minshall and Faith Bekich certainly did their best on Sunday to try and avoid the loss. Minshall scored ten points, while Bekich scored eight points.
Wilson's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Lab University Prep, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Wilson will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. North Myrtle Beach is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Lab University Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
