Peninsula has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell just short of the North Thurston Rams by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Peninsula were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Thurston apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Peninsula's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 0-1-2 and their overall record down to 0-3-2. As for North Thurston, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 3-2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peninsula will welcome Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakes' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Thurston, they will be playing at home against River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
