The Sparta Spartans lost against the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. Sparta fell  44-33 to Cochrane-Fountain City. Sparta has not had much luck with Cochrane-Fountain City recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Lily Seifert, who  scored 12 points along with 3  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tiana Leis, who  scored 8 points along with 7  rebounds.
 Sparta now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, the  victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sparta will  face off against Westfield Area at 7:00  p.m.  on November 30th. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, they will head out on the road to face off against Alma Center Lincoln at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
