On Monday, the Hudson Cobras's game was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 54-50 victory over Pasco. That's another feather in the cap for Hudson, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Terrance Davis went supernova for Hudson, scoring 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tejacion Chapman, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and five blocks.
Pasco lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zion DeJesus, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that DeJesus pulled down eight or more rebounds. Sidney Allen was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and three steals.
Hudson's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Pasco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pasco will head out on the road to face off against Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Clearwater Central Catholic's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
