Lawrence-Nelson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 28-24 to the Howells-Dodge Jaguars on Friday. The Raiders gained 115 more yards on the day, but it was the Jaguars that made the best use of them.

Belina rushed for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries while Luther rushed for 67 yards and a pair of TDs.
