Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Happy Valley). They put the hurt on the Unaka Rangers with a sharp 22-12 win on Friday. Considering the Warriors have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Happy Valley got a massive performance out of Drew Blevins, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Blevins a new career-high. Ty Johnson was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Happy Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .646. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Happy Valley now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Unaka, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Coming up, Happy Valley is taking a road trip to face off against Johnson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Johnson County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.55 runs per game on average), something Happy Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Unaka, they will be playing at home against Tri-Cities Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
