Bridgeport put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They breezed by Gordon-Rushville on the road to the tune of 78-14. Bridgeport's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Bridgeport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kolby Lussetto, who scored 21 points along with seven steals. Another player making a difference was Landon Dean, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Ainsworth over North Central in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ainsworth blew North Central out of the water with a 69-41 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Ainsworth had established a 23 point advantage.
Bridgeport is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Ainsworth, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7.
