Carlisle won the last time they faced George Washington and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Carlisle Chiefs' way against the George Washington Eagles as the Carlisle Chiefs made off with a 70-48 victory. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Carlisle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zarah Gray out in front who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave Gray a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Board, who had 19 points.

Carlisle pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. As for George Washington, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.

Carlisle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-37 defeat against Miller School of Albemarle on the 5th. As for George Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-39 loss against Magna Vista on the 7th.
