After soaring high against Letcher County Central last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Hazard took a 10-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Somerset. If Hazard were expecting to get some payback for the 9-20 loss against Somerset the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Hazard's record to 2-1. The victory bumped Somerset's record up to 3-1.
Hazard will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Prestonsburg in two weeks at 7:30 PM. As for Somerset, they will face off against North Laurel.
