With a playoff game on the line, the East Hardy Cougars rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against St. Marys by a score of 40-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for East Hardy.
Damien Dellinger looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 267 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 118 yards. Tyler Tarallo was in the mix as well, providing East Hardy with three touchdowns.
East Hardy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for St. Marys, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
East Hardy is on the road again on Saturday and play against Williamstown at 1:30 p.m. on November 18th. Williamstown will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. St. Marys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
