1A Conference 12 recap October 22, 2013
James Kenan extended the longest winning streak in 1A Conference 12 this week by beating Lakewood, 36-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Hobbton took down Kestrel Heights 57-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
North Duplin's dynamic duo of James Britt and Emiliano Mora proved tough for Rosewood to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Britt threw for 50 yards and 1 touchdown and Mora had 22 yards receiving. Cedrick Kornegay helped North Duplin's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 27 yards.
Johnny Frasier was a beast in the backfield as Princeton topped Spring Creek.
Frasier provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Bulldogs topped the Gators.
TJ Fullwood made the biggest impact on defense this week as James Kenan bested the Leopards. The 5-foot-11 senior nabbed 1 interception.
Princeton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Michael Wooten has thrown for 1,084 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Frasier has 21 catches for 449 yards.
At the moment, the Wildcats are in seventh, while Ken Avent, Jr.'s team is in first.
Princeton led the league in scoring this week by notching 57 points on Spring Creek. Frasier ran for 273 yards during the win.
