Howell North came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mehlville Panthers by a score of 2-0.
Sam Fitzsimmons paced Howell North's offense, picking up 11 kills. Fitzsimmons got some help from Luke Hollinger and his 26 assists. Josh Windsor controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Despite the loss, Mehlville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Grant Drikow had nine assists and seven digs.
Howell North's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Mehlville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-10 record.
