The Grapevine Mustangs got the win against the Aubrey Chaparrals on Tuesday by a conclusive 55-35. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Grapevine is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Aubrey, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Grapevine and Weatherford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Kangaroos have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups. As for Aubrey, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sanger at 3:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
