After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mandarin, Menendez was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Brooks Cornelison was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
