Baseball Recap: IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep Comes Up Short at Home Against Founders Classical Academy

IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Founders Classical Academy Hoplites on Tuesday.

The victory (which was Founders Classical Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Founders Classical Academy will challenge New Braunfels Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep will be paying especially close attention to the Hoplites' matchup: after the Hoplites faces off against IDEA Judson College Prep, they'll take on IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep again at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
