On Saturday, the Brentwood Bruins faced the Coffee County Central Red Raiders in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Brentwood came out on top against Coffee County Central by a score of 59-52. The victory was familiar territory for Brentwood who now have four in a row.
It was another big night for Ella Ryan, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Brentwood's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Morris, who scored 13 points.
Brentwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Coffee County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Brentwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Stewarts Creek at 10:00 a.m. on December 20th. Coffee County Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Webb School at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
