Lake and GlenOak pushed the score to 15-5 the last time they played GlenOak, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Blue Streaks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Streaks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Gianna Greathouse looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lake's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Ury, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
