Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, Mich.) grabbed the lead when
Kyle Bambard thew a touchdown to
Nik Heglin with 2:00 to go in the fourth quarter and held on to beat
Farmington (Mich.) 31-28 on Saturday. The score was the final lead change in a back-and-forth contest that featured five lead swaps.
After trailing 20-14 at the half, the Falcons went ahead on a rushing touchdown with 9:00 left in the third.
Walled Lake Western's standout player in the win was Bambard. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns and kicked one field goal. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.
