Pueblo East extended their  winning streak to eight games  thanks to a huge performance from  Myah Abeyta. The Pueblo East Eagles breezed past the Pueblo South Colts to the tune of  83-14 on Tuesday thanks in part to  Abeyta, who  dropped  a double-double with 29  points and 11  assists. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  assists.
  Sammie Alzate was another key player,  putting up eight points and four  steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played.
Pueblo East pushed their record up to 16-4 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.6 points over those games. As for Pueblo South,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-20.
 Looking ahead, Pueblo East will be playing at home against Harrison  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Pueblo South, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Pueblo Centennial  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
