 With a playoff game on the line, Lumberton rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Falcons  a   2-0 shutout. Two seems to be a good number for Lumberton as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  goals in their previous game.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Andrew Hansen and 
 Luke Cody, who scored both of Lumberton's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of 24 so far this season.
 Meanwhile, Stafford waltzed into their match  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Sandcrabs with a sharp  3-0 win. Stafford's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  goal in their last three  contests.
 Lumberton has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-3 record  this season. As for Stafford, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4-3.
