Howards Grove had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last week as the team lost 28-29 to Hilbert. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Howards Grove.
Meanwhile, Random Lake have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 28-0 margin over Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian. With Random Lake ahead 21-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Random Lake's win lifted them to 2-3 while Howards Grove's loss dropped them down to 3-2. We'll see if Random Lake's success rolls on or if Howards Grove are able to steal their positive momentum.
