Columbia Academy entered their tilt with Franklin Road Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Anna Brewer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Those 17 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kinslee Wilhelm was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.
