The Flagstaff Eagles''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Lee Williams at home and fell 58-13. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Flagstaff in their matchups with Lee Williams: they've now lost three in a row.
Noah Petrauschke went supernova for Lee Williams, throwing for 301 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Kruz Yocum was another key contributor, gaining 156 total yards and two touchdowns.
Lee Williams' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Leading the way was Bryson Vaughn and his two sacks.
Flagstaff's defeat was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.6 points per game. As for Lee Williams, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
