Union Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Stanly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cardinals will square off against the Rowdy Rebel Bulls at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Union Academy has 11 straight wins, South Stanly has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Meanwhile, South Stanly came up short against Gray Stone Day on Monday, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as South Stanly were already down 5-1.

Union Academy pushed their record up to 15-3-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 65 goals over those eight contests. As for South Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Union Academy's way against South Stanly when the teams last played on Wednesday, as Union Academy made off with a 13-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
