Fort Lupton hadn't beaten Englewood on the road since May 20, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Bluedevils were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Pirates. Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Arvada has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .515. However, it's not like Fort Lupton struggles in that department as they've averaged .491. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
