The Lima Christian Saints's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against Rochester Prep by a score of 59-50. That's another feather in the cap for Lima Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Lima Christian to victory were Lily Herring and Alyssa Marsh. Herring scored 15 points along with eight assists and four steals, while Marsh scored 33 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Marsh has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophy Britton, who scored six points.
Lima Christian has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Rochester Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
Lima Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against the Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rochester Prep, they will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
