The Hawthorne Christian Academy Hawks entered their tilt with the Victory Christian Vikings with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went Hawthorne Christian Academy's way against Victory Christian on Thursday as Hawthorne Christian Academy made off with a 52-28 win.
Hawthorne Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Talaiah McVay, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Holley, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Hawthorne Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Victory Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Hawthorne Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Carolina Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Victory Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
