East New York Family Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arianna Mercado, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and seven steals. The contest was Mercado's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Olivia Eugene was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six steals.
East New York Family Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for DuPont, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
East New York Family Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Bishop Loughlin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for DuPont, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
