Meanwhile, Marian Catholic was able to grind out a solid win over Nativity BVM on Thursday, taking the game 59-50.
Among those leading the charge was Jesse Rodino, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Julius Currie, who scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Wyoming Seminary College Prep to 2-0 and Elk Lake to 1-2.
Wyoming Seminary College Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Marian Catholic in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, sneaking past 54-51.
