Jerrick Garcia Game Report: vs Van Vleck

Jerrick Garcia gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Monday. He did his part (and then some), not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched for the 'W'. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Boling is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-12 otherwise.

Garcia's strong effort led Boling over Van Vleck and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
