Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Forest Academy). They never let the Parklane Academy Pioneers get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Keegan Kelsey was a standout: he scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 14 games. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Freche, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Oak Forest Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parklane Academy only posted an OBP of .200.

Oak Forest Academy pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Parklane Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oak Forest Academy beat Parklane Academy by a score of 9-3 later that day.
