The Christ's Church Academy Eagles's game  last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They snuck past Parsons Christian Academy with a  42-38 win. For Christ's Church Academy, this counts as revenge for the   51-42 loss Parsons Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in January of 2020.
  Jackson Hadden was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 19 points and 12  rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last 15 times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jackson Olson, who  scored eight points along with eight  rebounds.
 Parsons Christian Academy lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Jacob Gilley, who  scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Gilley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Jackson Burdette, who  scored nine points.
 Christ's Church Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-16 record this season. As for Parsons Christian Academy, they have  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost six of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ's Church Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Interlachen at 7:30  p.m.  on January 23rd. Interlachen will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Parsons Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on January 23rd. Trinity Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses.
