Orono extended their home winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Mya Moore. Orono simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Richfield 73-40 with plenty of help from Moore, who shot 48% from the field on her way to 27 points along with seven assists and six boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 30 games she's played dating back to last season.
Eveyn Miller was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.
When it comes to explaining why Richfield lost, don't look at Aniiya Johnson. Despite the final result, she went 5-for-12 en route to 16 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Desirai Chappell, who put up seven points and five assists.
