The Oak Hill Golden Eagles will head out to challenge the Eastbrook Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Oak Hill's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Elwood, posting a 42-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Jesse Zwirn

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oak Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jesse Zwirn, who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Those 130 rushing yards gave Zwirn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Archer, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries.
Meanwhile, Eastbrook's offense rose to the challenge against an Indians defense that boasted an average of only 9.25 points allowed on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over Mississinewa. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 21 points or more this season.
Oak Hill better keep an eye on Bodie Howell. He was instrumental in Eastbrook's win, rushing for 198 yards and three scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Howell showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards.
Eastbrook was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 351 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 256 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.
Eastbrook's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Mason Shell with two sacks. Matthew Slater got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Oak Hill's record now sits at 5-3. As for Eastbrook, their record is now 8-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Oak Hill has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 201.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Eastbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging 314.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Oak Hill didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Eastbrook in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
