Springfield will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Cohen at 7:00 PM. Springfield is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Springfield took care of business in their home opener. They made easy work of Ascension Christian last Friday and carried off a 56-27 victory.
Meanwhile, Cohen had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were completely outmatched, falling 16-55 to Pearl River. Cohen were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-35.
Springfield's win lifted them to 1-0 while Cohen's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Springfield can add another positive mark to their record or if Cohen can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Springfield's step.
