Hughes  went 9 for 18 en route to 20 points plus seven  rebounds and four  blocks, while  Franklin  went 7 for 12 en route to 20 points plus three  steals and two  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Semaj Stone, who  scored eight points along with seven  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Archbishop Ryan was working as a unit and  finished the game with 14  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Samuel Fels only posted six.
 Despite the loss, Samuel Fels still got an impressive performance from   Noah Scurry, who  went 9 for 15 en route to 19 points.  Mikey Freeman was another key player,  earning two points in addition to three  steals.
 The  loss snapped Samuel Fels' winning streak at five games  dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.
