The win bumped Santa Maria's record up to 3-6. Morro Bay are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Santa Maria will take on Pioneer Valley at home at 7:00 PM next week. Pioneer Valley took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Santa Maria's good fortune. As for Morro Bay, they will face off against San Luis Obispo. Morro Bay's defense better steel itself: San Luis Obispo are averaging 30 points per game.
