Caldwell led South Central Border (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Cunningham.
Cedar Vale/Dexter fell from sixth to ninth in the league, the largest drop in the standings this week. The fall was the result of a 50-12 loss to South Haven last week.
Argonia/Attica's dynamic duo of Alec McDaniel and Doss Grigsby proved tough for Norwich to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McDaniel threw for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns and Grigsby had 98 yards receiving. Jack Deviney helped Argonia/Attica's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 30 yards.
The Titans' dynamic duo of McDaniel and Grigsby proved to be unstoppable against the Eagles, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Armando Gomez was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 177 yards on 30 carries as West Elk defeated Norwich. Teammate Paxton Noll added to the ground attack by rushing for 35 yards.
Grigsby was the best receiver in South Central Border (8 Man) this week as Luke Greenwood's team beat Lucas Schroeder's team.
McDaniel put up the best numbers in passing as the Titans bested the Eagles.
Argonia/Attica's McDaniel and Grigsby have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McDaniel has thrown for 400 yards this season, while Grigsby, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 7 catches for 182 yards. The Patriots' Gomez leads the league in rushing yards with 444.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between West Elk and the Cardinals. Chris Haag's team comes into the matchup ranked 20th in the state, while South Haven ranks 22nd.
