The Moapa Valley Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season. They blew past River Valley 59-25 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Moapa Valley who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moapa Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Haylie Western, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Western also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Savanna Burt, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Despite the loss, River Valley had strong showings from Cherity Gonzalez, who scored nine points, and Veronica Galvez, who scored nine points.
Moapa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for River Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Pahrump Valley is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
