Bonita Springs took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ida Baker Bulldogs by a score of 32-22. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bullsharks also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Ida Baker lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nikolas Korf, who rushed for 117 yards and one score. Ida Baker also got help from Caelum Cragin, who showed off his sure hands for 91 receiving yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonita Springs will venture away from home to take on Mariner at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Ida Baker, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Palmetto Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
