Beulah faced Nedrose in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Miners blew past the Cardinals 16-1. Considering the Miners have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Addie Dale-Geiger was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Cassie Christensen was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 games. Elli Weidner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
Beulah has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
